Are all casinos in Minnesota dry casinos (i.e. no beer / liquor)? I know the one in Shakopee (Mystic Lakes) is, but what about the others?
Not all, no. There's a casino in northern Minnesota (Shooting Star Casino) that offers beer/liquor. My mom went to Mystic Lake a few years back and stated how they did not serve any alcohol. To be honest, Mystic Lake is the only casino I know (so far) that does not serve any.

This Friday is the pre-season match-up between the Vikings and the Seahawks. I am a die-hard Vikings fan…my wife is a die-hard Seahawks fan. I plan to have some Rainier Beer on hand, in honor of the Seahawks. What’s a good beer to have on hand in honor of the ‘Vikes?
Get the cheapest beer you can find. Like all Viking fans, until you get a quarterback, you will be crying in it anyway.
Grainbelt is a Viking fan favorite, it needs a little salt.

I am currently under the process of starting a beer company in Alexandria MN, it is calle Lehomme Deiu Brewery Co. and the first beer might be called moon dogg or moon doggy, what do you think?? It is a pale ale and needs to have a cool name that will drive sales, something to do with Northwoods, lakes, fishing, hunting, snow, somethin to do with MINNESOTA will make it a hit. please help. any advise from now forth send to david.allen@ndsu.edu thanks a lot!
Since any names that are suggested here may already be owned by another party, I wanted to go a different route…
I suggest either hiring a name creation firm or get together with your friends and/or family and throw a "name party" & have everyone bounce some ideas around. Compile a listing of names that you like the best. Once you have that list, do as much free research as you can before you delve into comprehensive research.
I listed some links where you can do some preliminary name checking. However, please be aware that this is merely scratching the surface of what's out there.
Only comprehensive research will tell you if the name is truly available. But, these links are free & a great place to start, so I'd try them out first.
Comprehensive research consists of looking at marks that are similar in Sound, Appearance or Meaning in the pending & registered Federal AND State trademark files as well as the US National Common-Law files.
There are other sites that offer free searching capabilities in conjunction with their commercial services, so I'm not able to post those links due to the Yahoo! TOS. You'll also want to check domain names & yellow pages, so simply do a search for "free domain name search" and "national yellowpages" and the appropriate links will pop up.
